Major General Iqbal Singh, AVSM, VSM, a highly decorated General Officer from the Indian Defence Establishment having extensively well rounded off professional experience while possessing critical expertise in core disciplines is part of TACT India's Leadership Team as Director and Practice Head: Security, Risk, Business Continuity Planning &Management.

With more than four decades of experience behind him including but not limited to being a Commander, Senior Command Wing, Army War College, General Officer Commanding an Infantry Division, Commandant Regimental Centre, General Iqbal Singh is a Masters in Science and Masters in Management Studies. He was decorated with ATI VISHISHT SEVA MEDAL for outstanding work in Counter Insurgency & Anti-Terrorism & a VISHISHT SEVA MEDAL for special work in the state of Jammu and Kashmir including Siachen Glacier Area.

Post retirement he has also been a professor, Head: MBA Department in a deemed university located in the state of Punjab. General Iqbal was leader of an Indian Army delegation to Myanmar centred on improvement in diplomatic ties and coordination of Counter Insurgency / Counter Terrorism

Anti-Drug Trade activities. He was also the Leader of the Indian delegation in the Pacific Armies Seminar.

An alumnus of National Defence Academy and The Indian Military Academy, General Iqbal was commissioned in the “Brigade of the Guards" and finally hung his boots in the Army in 2003. He currently is a critical part of the core team at TACT spearheading various operational initiatives for his core disciplines on Pan India and South Asia basis.
